Senior Network Engineer

Your mission is to drive our overall strategy for the deployment, day-to-day technical management and operations of network and other core network applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IP network architecture, and also have successes in building and leading engineering and Network Ops teams.

Video Services Technician

The role of the Video Services Technician (VST) is to develop, maintain, service, and deploy a variety of satellite television services for MDU and business locations. Both DIRECTV and Dish Network satellite television services and their accompanying distribution systems are managed and supported by SkyWire VSTs. The ideal VST will have a strong technical and troubleshooting background with a desire to work independently to resolve problems.

Field Services Technician

The role of the Field Service Technician (FST) is to provide a successful and rapid response for onsite service requests. This is a support role that is responsible for in-home service installation and issue resolution. The ideal FST will have a strong technical and troubleshooting background with a desire to work independently to resolve problems. The FST is responsible for providing a positive customer service experience while onsite. The FST will provide notes on each service call and appropriate feedback to the call center. The challenge of this role is meeting both the customer service expectations of the call center team and the technical experience expectations of the service delivery teams. You will need to work closely with each department and your manager to ensure that the technical and customer service expectations are being met.

Low Voltage Wiring Technician

Job duties of a low voltage wiring technician include:

  • Working with a team of technicians to implement large scale deployments of Low Voltage and Video infrastructure.
  • Installing, terminating, and connecting Low Voltage wiring in both active construction and post-construction environments.
  • Performing trim-out and finish work as it relates to low voltage wiring infrastructure.
  • Participation in company parties, team building events, and general fun stuff.
  • Using a variety of wiring tools to optimize signal strength, identify configuration and implementation issues, and work to resolve those issues.
  • Deploying and aligning radio and satellite hardware.
  • Finding the best taco trucks.
  • Learning new skills and techniques to improve your abilities and those of the SkyWire team.
  • Additional tasks and skills as needed.

Call Center Agent

Job duties of a call center agent include:

  • Working within a team to answer and resolve inbound customer calls and emails.
  • Assisting residents and business owners with activations and upgrades to their internet and video services.
  • Troubleshooting internet and video issues when tenants call in.
  • Performing first contact troubleshooting when customers call in.
  • Scheduling onsite visits with field support technicians for problems that can not be resolved over the phone.
  • Participation in company parties, team building events, and general fun stuff.
  • Communication with the rest of the VA SkyWire team to relay information about developing issues that may impact our customer base.
  • Learning new skills and techniques to improve your abilities and those of the SkyWire team.
  • Additional tasks and skills as our company grows.
